JLS add new dates to UK arena tour
28th January 2010
Due to popular demand, JLS have added three more dates to their end-of-the-year arena tour, set to begin in December. They’ve added performances at Liverpool Echo Arena on December 2, Cardiff International Arena on January 3 and Sheffield Arena on January 5. And according to the Belfast Telegraph, JLS are set to perform at the Odyssey Arena on Friday, January 7, 2011.
Things seem to be going swimmingly for the foursome as they expand their arena tour and prepare to perform for sold out audiences across the nation. They’re also about to release the One Shot single and video.
The UK’s hottest boy band begins their first headlining tour this month, with supporting act Stevie Hoang in toe. The 24-year-old Hoang told the Liverpool Echo: “I’m going to have a lot to live up to with that crowd. They’re JLS mad. But I hope I can get them all in the mood and get the party started.”
JLS will not only be heading out on their first headlining tour soon, but releasing a third single from last year’s debut as well. “One Shot” is scheduled for a February release, and fans are expecting big things for the single.
The boy band’s first two singles both shot to No. 1 during their respective first weeks of release, and JLS’s debut album did the same back in November.
“…I think for me and the boys it’s just about maintaining what we have now,” Marvin said in an interview with the Daily Star. “Always exceed expectations and always make things bigger and better. Ideally we want have a bigger-selling single with our next release. That’s always a goal.”
